Construction Defect

Since the firm’s founding in 2003, a substantial amount of the firm’s practice has been devoted to the defense of subcontractors in construction defect lawsuits in Southern, Nevada.  Prior to founding Luh & Associates, Mr. Luh was employed as staff counsel for St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company.  Mr. Luh had been recruited by St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company to help head its Nevada construction defect department, but the entire Nevada staff counsel office was eliminated after only 10 months due to the St. Paul Fire & Marine’s restructuring.  St. Paul Fire & Marine placed Mr. Luh on its exclusive list of panel attorneys (attorneys who have demonstrated the ability to handle complex litigation files).  Since that time, Luh & Associates has had the honor of being placed on the list of panel attorneys for some of the most respected insurance companies.

Charlie Luh and Jason Ferris hold the distinction of being one of only a handful of attorneys that have litigated dozens of Construction Defect trials.  In addition, they have been involved in multiple matters that have generated Case Law favorable to the defense of construction defect cases.
